Start Farming for Clean Energy Today
With a Clean Field Power solar farm, your land can yield
25+ years of guaranteed, effortless income.
Our Mission
Our goal at Clean Field Power is to share the long-term financial and environmental benefits of clean energy with rural communities and landowners through solar farm leases that create a new source of guaranteed income and energy savings. In most cases, solar yields significantly more profit for rural land when compared to crops or livestock alone. Our solar farms deliver benefits year over year, securing generational wealth for landowners and long-term energy savings for communities.
We Put Landowners First
Solar developers can often lose sight of the simple truth that solar projects would never exist without landowners trusting them. We strongly believe landowners are the most important asset for a project as these are long term commitments. That’s why we treat every landowner we work with like our partners. That means once you sign with Clean Field Power, you are not forgotten. We strive to build lasting relationships with each of the landowners we work with.
Developing a solar project can be complicated, but we make it easy. That’s because we handle everything from start to finish and make sure to keep you updated along the way. We value honesty, integrity, and transparency in our communication. That is the foundation of our identity and guides everything we do.
No Cost
We ensure that landowners will not incur any costs at any stage of the process. We cover all costs and are committed to making sure there are no hidden costs or surprises.
Easy to Sign
Our standard land agreement caters to the common needs of most landowners, but we also understand each landowner has unique expectations and preferences. We are flexible and can typically accommodate each landowner’s special circumstances, making it easier to sign and get a project moving forward.
No Responsibilities
We handle the entire development process, ensuring that landowners are not burdened with any responsibilities while we advance the project.
No Impacts
We provide our landowners with peace of mind that while we develop the project, we will not impact their current use of the land. If we impact the current operations on your land in any way, we will compensate you for it. Contractually guaranteed.
Clear Communication
Open and transparent communication are our key values. We understand that landowners never appreciate signing with solar companies only to never hear from them again. That’s why we promise regular updates on the status of our development efforts, provide a single point of contract for all phases of Clean Field Power project and welcome questions related to our process.
Our Zero Risk Process
We handle everything from start to finish with no cost to landowners. We do all the work necessary to develop the solar project and get it financed, built, operating, and maintained. At the end of the lease term, we take care of removing the system and restoring the property to its original condition. Guaranteed.

1. Land Agreement
After our team identifies a viable site for a solar project, we contact the landowner to offer a lease. First, we sign a non-binding agreement which provides the landowner with an initial payment for temporary exclusivity while our team begins developing the project. Our team then submits applications to the utility to connect the project to the local power grid.
2. Development
Once we confirm with the utility that a project can be successfully connected to the power grid, we then sign a lease that provides landowners an additional payment. Next, we submit all required paperwork and studies to obtain permits. Throughout this process, we provide our landowners with regular updates on the schedule and the opportunity to review our project designs and provide feedback.
3. Construction
When permits are approved, we guarantee plenty of advance notice before any dirt is moved. This ensures that landowners know when to stop spending money to continue operating their land such as for the upcoming crop season.
4. Operation
The landowner begins to receive lease income that will continue for 25+ years. The project operates without any labor and produces energy from sunlight hitting the solar panels. The energy is then sent to the grid and delivered by the utility to homeowners and businesses throughout the community. Our systems are also designed to make the land more productive by the end of the lease term. We often utilize pollinator habitats and deploy livestock grazing throughout the solar field.
5. Removal
When it is finally time to decommission the project at the end of the lease, we take care of making sure the entire system will be removed and contractually guarantee that the land is restored to its original state.
At Clean Field Power we strive to put our landowner partners first and recognize the value they bring. We value honesty, integrity, and transparency in our communication. This is the foundation of our identity and guides everything we do.
